North Korea is a country that was produced as a result of the Korean war the two countries split over communism.

Korean WarThe start of the Korean war was in 1950. This is when communism tried to take over South Korea and the US stepped in and fought for South Korea. This started North Korea's hate for America and the mistreatment of their people.

Kim-Jong-IlKim-Jong-Il introduced the current political dictatorship that is present in North Korea today as he started the Prison Camps and the Nuclear program even after they were forbid by the Geneva Convention.

Kim-Jong-UnKim-Jong-Un is the current leader of North Korea and the son of Kim-Jong-Il. He is keeping the mentality oh his dad alive.

North Korea's biggest advantage towards their people is that they use fear to control everything. The government uses fear to get anything they want and since the punishment is so great, the people will not say no to their leader or anything. They have to accept the unfair, crumbling situation around them. This gives the government more and more power without the people questioning it.
